How do you clean the shoes?

Our team of sneaker care experts perform a 10-step professional cleaning and sanitization process on every shoe. These professional sneaker cleaners work meticulously to scrub every part of the sneaker from the upper to the insole using only best-in-the-industry products! We utilize a proprietary combination of UV light exposure along with a sanitizing solution to ensure each pair is like new and completely COVID-19 safe.

What is the “KYX Bank”?

Each month, you get KYX Tokens in your “KYX Bank” that can be used to buy any shoe you are currently renting from KYX. The amount of Tokens you get each month depends on your plan level. Your KYX Bank adds up over time so you can purchase your favorite shoes from us whenever you like.

How does the subscription work?

KYX is a monthly plan that gives you access to hundreds of the freshest sneakers. You are billed monthly on the same date until you request cancellation of services. You are able to swap your pairs for any shoe available on the site (at your level) at any time throughout your billing period. This means you can rock your KYX for as little or as long as you like. Your billing date is not a return date as we do not require the shoes to be returned before the billing date unless you are planning to cancel your membership.

What happens if a shoe gets damaged?

Don’t worry about tiptoeing around in our shoes—we’ve got you covered for everyday wear and tear, enjoy them! We only ask that you treat the sneakers and our KYX community with respect. Please wear them responsibly.

If you return a shoe with mild to moderate damage (i.e. a scuff, a small stain, some star loss, etc), it's all good! If you were thinking of intentionally damaging or destroying the shoe...please don't. We have a pretty liberal wear policy around here—and we'd like to keep it that way!

Can I buy the shoes?

Yes! Sometimes you want to check out a shoe "on foot" before purchasing it. KYX gives you that total flexibility. Using your KYX Bank you can apply your Tokens to the purchase total as some drops you just have to add permanently to your rotation.

What if I don't like the shoes or the shoes don't fit?

We offer unlimited swaps at all levels to make it easy for you to swap in case you want to try something else out.

What does “unlimited swaps” mean?

With KYX, you are able to swap your pairs for any shoe on the site (at your level) at any time throughout your billing period. Your billing date is not a return date as we do not require the shoes to be returned before each billing date unless you are planning to cancel your plan. That means you can switch out your shoes as many times per month as you’d like!

How Do UPS Pick Up Returns work?

You can now schedule your returns and swaps to be picked up by UPS instead of having to drop them off. From your Orders Page follow these steps:

1. Select Swap for the shoes you want to return.
2. Confirm you want to have UPS pick up for your return.
3. Select a pick up date.
4. Place your shoes in the shipping box, seal them with packing tape, and place the return label over the original shipping label.
5. On pick up day place your package on your porch or package pick up area. 
6. UPS will come by between 8 am and 7 pm to collect. 

That's it! Once we see your returns on their way back we'll ship out your next pair.
